If more than 560kg/h steam  is needed or an almost 100% reliability of the steam supply is required by redundancy, multiple steam units are recommended.

For mulitple steam units, normally a common water supply and a common blow-down vessel are used. Multiple steam units set parallel to each other is all that is required. There is no limitation to the number of connected Jumag steam boilers. For multiple steam units the capacity will be automatically adjusted as required, by using a boiler sequence.

FUNCTIONING

For multi-unit systems, several steam generators are connected parallel to each other.

The different steam boilers will be running depending on the steam demand. Only the number of boilers are running, that are neccessary to provide the demand. In order to obtain uniform usage of the steam boilers, priorities are regularly changed.
