Silver Cloud offers the finest gourmet quality Bourbon Madagascar vanilla beans in a wide variety of packaging options from 3 beans to a one pound pouch. These are gourmet prime beans, which are also known as Grade A1 or quality 1 vanilla beans. They are moist and flexible, full of seeds with a rich deep black coloration. Our beans are the cream of the crop and representative of some of the finest vanilla beans produced in Madagascar each year.

We also offer Bourbon Madagascar Grade B Vanilla Beans. These beans have a slightly lower moisture content than the gourmet beans and are not as dark in color. The Grade B beans still have an exceptional flavor and aroma and are typically the quality used by manufacturers of vanilla extract. These beans are ideal for making vanilla extract and offer a cost savings (see below).

Our vanilla beans are packed in vacuum sealed pouches and sold by weight. The bean counts in these pouches can vary depending on the size of the beans. As a general rule, a 1/4 lb. pouch has 23-27 beans a 1/2 lb. pouch has 45-55 beans and a 1 lb. pouch has 90-110 vanilla beans. If you require a specific bean count we recommend you choose one of our specific bean count options (3, 5, 10, 12, 25 and 50 beans).
