Despite all necessary standards and also fulfilling the DIN ISO EN 9001:2008 stipulations we stress to fulfill the German purity law and combine modern rudiments with our proven traditional processes.

At BESTMALZ, all of the malts are made using only the highest quality grain. Fabrication in batch sizes of 100kg, careful moisture control, lengthy germination and gentle roast procedure afford optimal malting conditions, which in turn, provide an exceptional and extremely reliable foundation for high-quality, in which unwanted bitter compounds (pyrazine) are reduced considerably to finally obtain a great-tasting beer.

Product diversity
In order to brew individual beers it is necessary to have a wide variety of different types of excellent malt. We are proud to say that we carry about forty different variations of best quality malts such as base malt, caramel malt, roasted malt. At BESTMALZ we always consider our customers’ needs carefully, equally dividing our attention between the large breweries and our hobby brewers, to ensure each one achieves an absolute superlative flavour, aroma and colour. Using different malt types and various doses it is possible to achieve  a myriad of remarkable flavours. Depending on the quantity and the combination one can achieve array of colours varying from yellow, golden, red to chestnut, brown or dark black.

BESTMALZ is available in various bag sizes, 25kg and 50 kg, also in “Big Bags” presently being shipped to over 75 countries worldwide. Naturally we carefully regulate our certified production process ensuring an economical, ecological and environmental production and at the same time we do our best to improve our internal record keeping in order to ensure the maintenance of our quality standards. Instinctively we strive to achieve constant product development nevertheless continuously aware of our high quality standards.
